End of Term Mass - Friday 3rd April 2020 - 10am

Dear Parents and Carers,

We are blessed to have such a wonderful Catholic community serving the educational and pastoral needs of our children and the families.

This Friday as we finish this term and get ready for Easter, We invite you all to join us for an online mass at 10am from Our Lady & St Vincent in Potters Bar, using this link: https://www.churchservices.tv/pottersbar

This mass will be offered for our local Catholic Schools Community.

In September we held our community mass at NBS and each school had part of a jigsaw to decorate.  During mass we were invited to complete this jigsaw and it made a heart.  This heart symbolises the ‘love’ we should have for each other and humanity.  It is also one of the Gospel values which Jesus taught us too.  A very poignant value to have and to express during this difficult time.  The heart jigsaw has been delivered to the parish and will be used as part of the liturgy.

Canon Shaun Lennard will celebrate mass.

A candle will be lit for each school to allow us to focus on our community and pray for our sick and vulnerable during this crisis.

Please can we come together as students, staff, families and governors  for this special community mass at 10am tomorrow -  https://www.churchservices.tv/pottersbar with Canon Shaun Lennard.

Thank you

Mairead Waugh

St Philip Howard's 60th Anniversary Mass

Easter Story - April 2019

On Monday 19th October, St Philip Howard's Feast Day, we were delighted to welcome Bishop John Sherrington, Father John and Father Livinus to open and bless our wonderful new building. We celebrated with a whole school Mass followed by the blessing of the building. Our School Councillors then conducted tours of the new building for visitors and parents. It was a great day of celebrating and giving thanks. Here are some pictures from our special day.

The Friends of The School have purchased this lovely bench in memory of Mrs Teresa Halsey who was our Nursery Nurse for many years. The poem has been written by Mr Grisdale and the brass plaque was donated by Burgess Undertakers. The bench is currently located outside the Edwards Suite.
